Putting Myself Out There
You have to be something different to experience something different
With a new month comes new media. If you’ve been reading my posts, this should not come as a surprise! I’m adding another dimension to my work. Motion pictures, baby!
Sometimes it’s better to show rather than tell. Though I love writing these newsletters and doing oral history work, I need to be able to live to love what I do. In other words, I’m seeking new, paid opportunities in a full-time role that leverages my decade-long experience in transportation, urban planning, and environmental work.
I’ve always been a storyteller - but that’s for another story. Until I can preserve families’ histories and intergenerational connections full-time, I’ll be focusing on Out There, my personal journey seeking purpose-driven work in a very hard market & environment! This is my take on self-preservation in action, in archive, in art!
So if you see fewer Substacks, you know why. But, if you’d like to support my work or think it’s important, please let me and someone else know, and consider upgrading to a paid subscription! And if you can, please like, comment, share, and subscribe to my YouTube channel to follow the journey.
I’ll see you Out There,
Ambar
